This group of scarce insignia includes 1 Civil Aviation Badge (D.L.V.) stickpin for German pilots training in Russia from 1924 to 1933. The badge has rivet construction with a knurled pin. / 1 DLV red and black enamel stickpin featuring a winged propeller, red circle, and central party symbol. / 1 DLV hat badge featuring a red and black enamel winged propeller, red circle, and central party symbol. The reverse is marked “WILH. DEUMER, LUDENSCHEID GES. GESCH.” / 1 SA pilot’s badge in silver embroidery on brown cloth. The embroidered wings have a central white circle with embroidered black party symbol. / 1 DLV badge for free balloon pilots, 2nd model in silver. The badge features a knurled stickpin attachment device with a black and blue enameled design that features a blue balloon with a party symbol, along with a black winged gondola with the initials “DLV” surrounding. The reverse of the pin is marked “GES. GESCH.” / 1 DLV Tradition Badge for former members of the SS and SA Fliegersturme. The badge is gold metal bullion on black with white edging on the right side of the “A”. / 1 Small tin pin depicting the Graf Zeppelin on its original card of issue dated 1939. / 1 DLV silver bullion balloon pilot’s badge that is likely of post-WWII manufacture. CONDITION: the DLV insignia show wear and tarnish. The SA pilot’s wings has visible wear to the bullion, as does the DLV Tradition Badge. Other items generally show light wear.
