1-2) This lot includes 14 various tinnies, including Maitag, Reichsprateitag, Tag der Arbeit, and several more. / 1 Winter sports token from Berchtesgaden. / 1 Miniature book titled “DES FURHERS KAMPF IN HOLLAND”. / 1 Gold-plated .925 silver medal issued in 1989, picturing Adolf Hitler on the front with the dates 1889–1945 and a WWII German eagle on the reverse. / 1 Photograph of Hitler shaking hands of a type used for tipped-in photobooks. / 1 M1924 German “potato masher”-type hand grenade with fragmentation sleeve. The head of the grenade is stamped “RR 564 1940”. Metal parts have an OD green finish. The stick is stamped “RR 564 1940” as well. CONDITION: grenade shows light overall wear. Tinnies show expected wear. The 1989 medal appears uncirculated. 3) GOLD FILLED LOCKET WITH WWII GERMAN PARTY SYMBOL MOTIF. This locket is likely from the WWII period or before. The front has a tetragammadion symbol, often associated with the German worker’s party of the 1930s to 1945. The interior of the locket has a woman’s photograph, wearing clothing and having a hairstyle correct for the period. Along with the locket is a silver ring, also with tetragammadion symbols associated with Native American cultures in the United States. Both pieces are suspended from a modern gold-plated chain. CONDITION: both the locket and the ring show light overall wear. The chain shows no wear. (02-21110, 02-21120/02-21115/BF). $400-650.
