ERMA EL24 22 LR CONVERSION KIT. Cal. 8mm Mauser/22 LR. S#'s 5654f and 1508a. Bbl. 23 1/2". Blade front sight with protective hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Matching numbers on receiver, trigger guard, bolt release, both bands, and rear sight parts. Rear action screw has a strawed appearance and is likely a replacement. Receiver top marked with "(Eagle)/135" and "byf 43". Rifle has an Erma EL24 conversion kit installed, numbered "1508a". The kit is dated 1937 and has matching visible numbers. Blued finish. Laminated stock set with faint "WaA135" Waffenamt on right side of butt, left side sling provisions, and leather sling. Stock disc has a plug in the center. Cleaning rod present. MAGS: one 5rd. Erma 22 LR mag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 41 ASW-coded S84/98 bayonet with matching scabbard. Bayonet shows notable silvering and bluing wear towards the top. CONDITION: sanded stock set has added finish with a thin chip to right of bbl. near receiver, some scattered handling marks. Metal retains 40% original and reblue finishes, with overall fading to gray and some light oxidation. Action is stiff due to grease buildup but functional when hand cycled. Very good bore.
