PAIR. 1) A fine pair of WWII German binoculars used by the Kriegsmarine. The binoculars measure approx. 8 1/2" x 6 3/4". They have a black finish with textured barrels. The binoculars are marked on one barrel "7X50 beh 321672 KF". The other barrel is marked with an eagle and Party symbol over "M" and "21561 N". The binoculars have their original strap and storage case. The case's marks are difficult to read, but appear to be "ELEITZ WEIZAR" and "1940". The top of the lid is marked with a bold eagle, Party symbol, and the letter "M". CONDITION: binoculars appear fully functional and show overall light wear. The case has a seam opening on the back and is missing most of the suspension straps. 2) An interesting pair of unmarked binoculars measuring approx. 8" x 5". There are no markings visible on the binoculars, but they are black with textured barrels. The eyepieces are hard black plastic, and the neck strap is present. The original case has a belt loop for ease of carrying and a spring-loaded closure strap. The case carrying strap is missing. CONDITION: The binoculars are fully functional. Exposed metal pieces do show some oxidation. The case is missing its carrying strap. (02-23638/BF). $400-700.
