The exploits of Captain Rogge were the subject of a Reader’s Digest article in October of 1953. The letters written by Rogge as well as the Reader’s Digest containing the 1953 article are included with this lot. CONDITION: the shoulder boards, buttons & breast eagle show light to moderate wear. The Knight’s Cross & Spange show some wear. (02-15256/BF). $3,000-5,000.
