Overall length 14 1/2”. Blade is etched on one side “Meine Ehre Heisst Treue” and is marked near the hilt on the other side “RICH. ABR. HERDER (logo) SOLINGEN”. Nickel silver cross guard & pommel with the rear of the cross guard stamped “I”. Black wood grip with plated eagle and black enamel SS button. Scabbard has plated mounts on a black anodized body. Hanger is complete and includes belt loop. CONDITION: blade shows some scabbard wear and light areas of discoloration near the hilt. Hilt generally shows light wear. Scabbard has some oxidation to the finish. There are dents to the ball at the base of the tip. Hanger shows light to moderate wear, and the belt loop shows light wear.
