A fine WWII German RAD hewer with an overall length: 15 3/4". Blade is etched "Arbeit adelt". The blade is marked near the hilt "RLAD" in a triangle, & "GES. GESCH. CARL EICKHORN (logo) SOLINGEN". Plated guard, ferrule, side straps, & beak of the eagle-like pommel. The ferrule has the owners monogram etched on the reverse. 2-Piece antler grips secured by 2 screws. Scabbard has plated mounts w/ a black anodized body. CONDITION: blade shows some factory polish with scabbard wear. Hilt shows light wear. Scabbard also shows light overall wear. (02-24949/BF). NON-GUN. $600-800.
