A gorgeous example of a WWII German Technische Nothilfe dagger or hewer measuring 16" overall with a 9 1/2" plain blade marked on the reverse " (teno eagle) GES. GESCH. ORIGINAL (logo) Eickhorn SOLINGEN ". The oppisite side of the blade is numbered "3349". TENO eagle crossguard with a bird head shaped pommel displaying a cogwheel on the front. The 2 piece cream colored grips are secured by 2 screws. Black enameled scabbard with plated tip and throat that is numbered "3349" on the top. CONDITION: blade shows light scabbard wear only. This is among the finest condition of all the WWII German daggers, of any type, we have sold. (02-24945/BF). NON-GUN. $2,600-3,600.
