Cal. 6.5 Carcano. S# AF 7547. # matches on barrel and buttstock. Bbl. 22". Fixed open rear sight marked on base "CAL. 6.5". Blade front sight. Receiver is marked on top "MADE IN ITALY / CALIBER 6.5" which is an early import mark. Marked on top of barrel with crown "RE TERNI" and marked on the right side 1940-XIX. Turned down bolt handle. Bayonet lug is present. Hard wood stock set. Trap type buttplate. CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal rework finish with moderate wear and staining and handling marks. Extensive repaired crack on left side of wrist. Metal has an arsenal rework black finish with wear and flaking. Bolt does not fit rifle correctly and will not function properly. Firing pin tip is broken. Butt trap is not present. One screw is missing from upper band. There is a app. 1/4" hole through the magazine. Dark oxidized bore. (24-4714/RW). CURIO. $250-450.
