PISTOL. Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 76472. Bbl. 4 ¾". Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on slide, trigger, bolt, and cocking piece. Firing pin and extension are unnumbered. Right rear of the frame has "15.3" Showa date for March, 1940. Right rear of slide has Nagoya and Kokubunji markings with serial number. Asian hardwood grips with mismatched numbers. MAGS: one 8-rd., brightly finished and numbered to a different gun. CONDITION: grips have an added finish, giving them a black appearance, with some chips, flaking, dings, and handling marks. Metal has a gray appearance, likely from old touch-up blue, with some dings, scratches, and oxidation. Action functions properly, with mag. release being a bit stiff. Bore shows some small spots of light pitting but strong rifling. (24-7238/MJC). CURIO. $250-350.
