Cal. 8mm Nambu. S# 13859. Bbl. 4 3/4". Blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Matching numbers on the slide, bolt, cocking piece, and trigger. Both grip panels, firing pin, and the extension all appear unnumbered. Right rear of the frame has 18.3 Showa date for March, 1943. Rear right of the slide has Nagoya, Kokubunji, and first series markings. Various markings have an added white highlight. Blued finish with strawed small parts. Grooved Asian hardwood grips. MAGS: two 8-rd., blued, and both are numbered to different guns. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: rubberized canvas holster with shoulder strap. CONDITION: The left grip panel shows wear from safety rotation; the grips otherwise show some flaking, scratches, dings, and handling marks. Metal retains 80% of its original blue, with scattered fading to gray, oxidation mostly on the backstrap, and some light edge wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good bore.
