Sight protector secured w/ incorrect replacement screw. Receiver is marked on left rail "U.S. PROPERTY". Marked on left side "NO. 4 MKI*". Receiver ring is marked, Crown "BNP". Butt socket is marked on left side "MADE IN USA" / "S" / "1942" / flaming bomb. Receiver made with cutout bolt head release. Replacement hardwood stock set. Buttstock marked on right side w/ faint "KA 12 42". Brass trap buttplate. "S" marked upper band with incorrect added stacking swivel. Khaki web sling. MAGS: 1 Detachable 10 rd. marked "S" on guide rib. CONDITION: stock set has well worn buttstock w/ numerous handling marks. Buttstock noticeably loose in socket. Handguards and forend have notably thin finish w/ staining and scattered handling marks. Metal has traces of original finish turning gray and patina w/ moderate wear.
