Cal. 30-06. S# 4756501. Bbl. 24". Smith Corona-dated 8-43 with a flaming bomb. Blade front sight. Adjustable aperture rear sight graduated to 800yds. Parts are of mixed USGI mfg. with "SA"-marked bolt, Remington mag. cutoff, stock, and floorplate. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom-mounted sling swivels and GI canvas sling. Left side of stock has faint ordnance wheel, "FJA" and "BA-W" markings. Underside of wrist has circled "P" firing proof. CONDITION: stock set has an arsenal rework type finish with some improper band removal wear, a couple abrasions on the handguard, scattered dings, and handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework gray parkerized finish with a couple spots of finished-over pitting, scattered thinning, and edge wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled.
