LEGION TANK BADGE, & STICKPIN BOX. This lot contains items of questionable authenticity that may be of post-WWII manufacture. We encourage interested parties to examine items in this lot closely and in person, if possible. Preview times are available upon request. 1) IRON CROSS. A WWII-style German 1st Class Iron Cross featuring a silver-bordered black cross with a central party symbol and "1939" at the base. The cross has a magnetic center, and the reverse has a screw-on disc attachment with a stabilization pin below. The outside of the disc is marked "L21". 2) TANK BADGE. A well-done example of a pre-WWII-style stamped Condor Legion Tank Badge in silver. Badge has a large oak leaf wreath with an oversized central skull & crossbones and a tank below. The reverse has a wide pin and is unmarked. The badge is housed in a black leather-covered case. 3) BOX. A red leather stickpin box with a gold-impressed label on the side that reads "LEHMANN & WUNDENBERG HANNOVER". No stickpin. CONDITION: all awards show light overall wear. Boxes also show light overall wear. (02-22565-1/BF). $350-600.
