This lot contains an item of questionable authenticity that may be of post-WWII manufacture. We encourage interested parties to examine the item closely in this lot and in person, if possible. Preview times are available upon request. This badge features an oak leaf and laurel leaf wreath with a central gold-washed silver diving eagle grasping a party symbol. The reverse features a narrow pin with 2-rivet construction. The eagle is stamped "G.H. OSANG DRESDEN 800". The silver wreath is engraved "Ob Lt. Ferdinand Foltin 8.8.1940 Fallschirmschule III. Braunschweig". This lot also contains a gold-embossed black leather presentation box of questionable age and a Fallschirmjager stickpin with a knurled pin. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a photocopy detailing the life and career of Major Ferdinand Foltin. CONDITION: badge shows light wear overall with some loss of gilding on the front of the eagle.
