Cal. 7.62x54 R. S# H65636. Bbl. 26 1/2" w/ muzzle brake. Post front sight with hood. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1500m. Rear of the receiver is notched for a scope mount. Rifle is also equipped with an original 3.5x power PU scope made by Soviet Factory 357 in 1940. The scope also has a 1964 arsenal refurb marking, a post-reticle, and good optics. Scope mount is unmarked and likely a reproduction. Receiver top has a 1942 date and Tula star marking. Arsenal blue finish with plum colored bolt. Mag is mismatched; other visible numbers are matching as arsenal refurbished with some electropencil-numbered parts. Hardwood AVT-40 stock with pressed-in rear sling slot and left-side forward sling mount. Right side of the stock has a 1944 date, arsenal refurb, and Tula star markings. Cleaning rod is present. MAGS: 1-10 rd. arsenal refurbished with mismatch number. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework finish with some scattered flaking, dings, & handling wear. Metal retains 80% arsenal rework blue with some blued overpitting, most notable on mag, scattered fading, & some edge wear. Bore is dark with scattered frosting and some pitting but evident rifling.
