CARBINE. Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1949258. Bbl. 18". Underwood dated 8-43 with flaming bomb. Blade front sight marked "EU" with protective blades. Adjustable aperture rear sight with "H" in a shield marking. Parkerized finish. Flat bolt marked "N14" on left lug. Fourth variant operating slide marked "N". Type III front band marked "AI" with bayonet lug. Left side of trigger housing marked "N". Hammer marked "NH". Mag release marked "W". "J.A.O." marked rotating safety. Unmarked recoil plate. Low wood walnut stock set with boxed "NPM/FJA" and ordnance wheel cartouches on the right side. Left side sling provisions with canvas sling and "TRIMBLE TN" marking in left sling cut. Left side of stock also has a boxed "RIA/EB" rebuild stamp. Two-rivet handguard marked "TN". MAGS: one 15rd. marked "LU" for Underwood. CONDITION: stock set shows some scattered dings and handling marks. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework-parkerized finish with some finished-over pitting on bottom metal and scattered, light edge wear. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good+, bright bore.
