A good example of an early US WWII T5 parachute. The label on the side of the parachute pack reads "TYPE-T5 PARACHUTE DRAWING 41 J 10142-2 CAMOUFLAGE MFG. BY HIGHTSTOWN RUG CO. PARACHUTE DIVISION HIGHTSTOWN, N.J.", along with an area to write in serial numbers above the contract number "43-2114-AF". Pack comes with all white cotton canvas straps & metal buckles intact. However, it is possible the canvas straps are later replacements. The parachute pack is contained within a green canvas duffle bag. The parachute itself has not been inspected out of the pack, therefore, we cannot attest to the condition or age of the chute itself. CONDITION: the pack shows light overall wear. Markings remain clear and legible. The white cotton straps remain strong & bright. Canvas bag is a bit soiled but sturdy. Interior chute has not been examined. (02-20959/BF). $1,000-2,000.
